The local administration had notified these agencies a month prior that the festival would not be held. Despite the lack of an organized event, the mayor and local authorities worked to accommodate the unexpected influx of visitors to Jurilovca. The situation highlights the potential for misinformation to impact tourism and the challenges of managing expectations when events are cancelled.
