Twenty-eight students from Tokyo, Japan, recently participated in a student exchange program in Indonesia from August 24-28, 2026. The program focused on introducing the students to STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics – educational approaches utilized in Indonesia. This initiative aims to broaden the Japanese students’ understanding of alternative teaching methodologies. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for cultural exchange alongside academic learning. Indonesian officials from the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikdasmen) facilitated the STEM education sessions. It is hoped that this exchange will foster greater collaboration between the two nations in the field of education. The program signifies Indonesia's growing role in sharing its educational practices internationally.
