Jagannath University has appointed Professor Dr. Azam Khan of the Economics Department as the new Proctor. This appointment follows the leave of absence of current Proctor Dr. Mohammad Nasir Uddin, who is traveling abroad for medical treatment. Dr. Khan will assume the responsibilities of the Proctor’s office during Dr. Nasir Uddin’s absence. The university’s acting registrar, Professor Dr. Sheikh Gias Uddin, officially announced the decision via an office order on Tuesday, August 11th. The change ensures continued administrative oversight within the university. Dr. Khan's appointment is temporary, lasting for the duration of Dr. Nasir Uddin’s medical leave. This transition maintains the operational functionality of the Proctor’s office and student welfare services.
