A new round of USA-led talks between Israel and Lebanon is scheduled for August 4 in Italy. Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced the upcoming meeting to the national assembly. This decision follows previous discussions held between the two delegations in Rome last week. Meanwhile, conflict levels in Lebanon remain high following Israel's ground invasion to target Hezbollah. The Lebanese government army was expected to recover areas from Israeli control in designated pilot zones this Tuesday. However, these efforts have been obstructed by ongoing Israeli military actions. The diplomatic meetings aim to address the escalating tensions in the region.
