Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka invited representatives from five Indonesian universities – the University of Indonesia, Sanata Dharma University, Pelita Harapan University, Jenderal Soedirman University, and the Indonesian Institute of Arts and Culture – to observe the “Making Indonesia Great” (MBG) vocational training program in Ende, East Nusa Tenggara. The visit aimed to gather student perspectives on the program’s effectiveness and potential improvements. The MBG program focuses on skills development to enhance employment opportunities for local residents. This initiative is part of the government’s broader strategy to boost human capital and economic growth in the region. The Vice President emphasized the importance of aligning education with industry needs. Student feedback will be used to refine the program and ensure its continued relevance.
