Sinergi Amil Zakat (SAZ), a coalition of Indonesian zakat (Islamic alms) organizations, is expanding its “Wujudkan Anak Ceria” (Realizing Happy Children) program. The initiative aims to assist 2,000 vulnerable children facing challenges such as school dropouts and limited educational access. The program addresses critical issues like childhood malnutrition alongside educational support. SAZ seeks to improve the well-being of children in need throughout Indonesia. This effort highlights a collaborative approach to social welfare through the traditional Islamic practice of zakat. The program focuses on providing resources and opportunities to ensure children can continue their education and thrive. The coalition hopes to create a brighter future for disadvantaged children.
