Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian People's Representative Council (DPR), Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, attended a commemoration event marking the fifth anniversary of the passing of the founders and leaders of the Al-Husaeni Islamic boarding school in Lebakbiru, Ciparay, Bandung Regency. The event, known as Haul Akbar, served as a platform for Syamsurijal to advocate for the development of students with strong entrepreneurial and digital literacy skills. He encouraged Islamic schools (pesantren) to prioritize cultivating these competencies among their students. Syamsurijal emphasized the importance of preparing students not only with religious knowledge but also with the practical skills needed to succeed in the modern economy.
