Indonesia’s Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted a sting operation (OTT) in Banyumas, Central Java. The raid targeted officials at Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed). Several high-ranking university figures were apprehended as part of the operation. The Unsoed rector is currently being questioned at the KPK’s headquarters, known as the “Red and White Building.” Details regarding the alleged offenses have not yet been released by the KPK. This marks another instance of the KPK’s ongoing efforts to combat corruption within Indonesian institutions. The investigation is expected to shed light on potential illicit activities within the university administration.
