Indonesia’s National Nutrition Agency (BGN) will undertake a comprehensive audit of kitchens providing free nutritious meals during school holidays. This action aims to ensure the continued provision of quality meals to students even when classes are not in session. The audit will assess kitchen operations, food safety standards, and nutritional content of the meals. BGN intends to verify that funds allocated for the program are being used effectively and that meals meet required standards. The initiative responds to concerns about potential disruptions in food supply and quality during school breaks. Findings from the audit will inform future program improvements and resource allocation, strengthening the national school feeding program.
