Indonesia has successfully made its first export of marinated catfish to Taiwan, sending a 10.5-ton shipment in a deal worth approximately Rp 400 million. This marks a new milestone in Indonesian aquaculture and international trade. The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries facilitated the export, highlighting the growing potential of Indonesian seafood products in the global market. Taiwan's demand for processed fishery goods is increasing, creating opportunities for Indonesian exporters. Officials predict that this initial success will pave the way for future and larger exports of catfish and other marine products. The export adheres to stringent Taiwanese import regulations, guaranteeing product safety and quality. This achievement supports local catfish farmers and strengthens economic ties between Indonesia and Taiwan.
