Indonesia's National Agency for Nutrition (BGN) has launched a program to improve nutritional knowledge and food safety awareness among educators. The initial phase of the program targets 658,300 teachers and education personnel. Ultimately, the BGN aims to reach 3.5 million teachers nationwide through the Literacy of Nutrition and Food Security program. This initiative seeks to empower educators to impart vital information to students regarding healthy eating habits and safe food practices. The program is considered crucial for addressing malnutrition and promoting public health across Indonesia. By equipping teachers with this knowledge, the BGN hopes to foster a culture of nutrition awareness from a young age. This large-scale training effort represents a significant investment in the future health of the nation.
