Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) apprehended an Indian national, Puton Molla, 19, near the border in the Fatikchhari Upazila of Chattogram on Monday afternoon. The arrest occurred in the Andharmanik area, close to the border, with assistance from local residents. The patrol team operating under the Ramgarh Battalion (43 BGB) made the arrest around 1:30 PM in North Andharmanik. Authorities have identified Molla as a resident of Sabroom, South Tripura, India. Further details regarding the circumstances of his border crossing and the reasons for his presence in Bangladesh are currently unavailable. The BGB is continuing investigations into the incident. He is currently in custody.
