Torrential rainfall has devastated parts of India, with the city of Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir experiencing the brunt of the impact. At least ten people have died due to widespread flooding, and numerous others remain missing. The Dharali River overflowed its banks, breaching defenses and causing significant destruction to homes and infrastructure. Residents have been forced to evacuate low-lying areas as the floodwaters surged. Authorities are warning that the severe weather and potential for further flooding could continue for several days. The situation remains critical as rescue and relief efforts are underway in the affected region.
