The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised its economic growth outlook for Hungary while making a substantial downward adjustment to its inflation projections. The IMF now forecasts a 1.9 percent inflation rate for Hungary this year, a significant decrease from the 3.8 percent estimated in April. The forecast for next year’s inflation has also been reduced, from 3.5 percent to 2.8 percent. Last year, Hungary experienced an inflation rate of 4.4 percent. These revisions suggest a more optimistic outlook for price stability in Hungary. The updated projections indicate a potentially improving economic environment, though monitoring price levels will remain crucial.
