A civilian Airbus A-321 flying from Tel Aviv to Prague prompted a response from Hungarian air force jets on Thursday. The aircraft reportedly failed to communicate with air traffic control while flying over Hungarian airspace. Consequently, two Gripen fighter jets were dispatched from Kecskemét airbase to intercept and escort the plane. The Hungarian jets accompanied the A-321 until it left Hungarian airspace, ensuring its safe passage. Authorities have not yet released information regarding the reason for the initial lack of communication from the civilian aircraft. The incident raised concerns but did not result in any disruptions to air travel.
