Interest in this year's voluntary military training for high school students has reached extraordinary levels. According to the army, 1,173 students applied, with 1,160 meeting the necessary requirements. Due to this surge in demand, the military increased the original capacity of 800 places. The training program is scheduled to take place from July 7 to July 31. Upon successful completion, participants will take a formal oath and become reserve soldiers. Additionally, graduates will receive a gross payment of 46,793 Czech koruna. The increased interest is attributed in part to the geopolitical situation involving Russia.
