Hong Kong’s Government Flying Service (GFS) successfully hosted its first International Symposium on Emergency Response and Aeromedical Services (ISERAS) from June 16-18. The three-day event drew over 230 participants, including policymakers, experts, and academics from various fields. ISERAS served as a platform for discussing advancements and best practices in emergency response and aeromedical services. The symposium facilitated knowledge sharing and collaboration on critical issues facing the sector. The GFS organized the event to foster international cooperation and enhance capabilities in handling emergency situations. This inaugural symposium signals Hong Kong’s growing role as a regional hub for emergency management and aeromedical expertise.
