A decades-old pine tree collapsed within the grounds of a government building in Pleiku Ward on June 11th, causing significant damage. The falling tree uprooted completely, bringing down a section of the surrounding wall. Two cars and a motorcycle were damaged by the collapse. The incident also blocked traffic on Hùng Vương Street, a major thoroughfare. Authorities are currently working to clear the debris and restore access to the roadway. No injuries have been reported as a result of the tree fall. The cause of the collapse is currently under investigation, though recent weather conditions may be a factor.
