A woman was killed and two people sustained serious injuries in a road accident on the Mombasa-Nairobi highway last night. The collision occurred near Kautandini in Mukaa Subcounty at approximately 7:40 pm. Reports indicate a Matatu and a Canter lorry were involved, with the accident attributed to a dangerous overtaking maneuver. The driver of one of the vehicles reportedly overtook several others, resulting in a head-on collision with the oncoming Canter. Emergency services responded to the scene and transported the injured to a local hospital for treatment.
