The Helsinki Regional Transport Authority (HSL) has purchased five new coffee machines for its facilities at a cost of approximately €130,000, excluding VAT. The decision was made through a leasing agreement with Jobmeal Oy, as announced by HSL. According to Jussi M. Saarinen, Head of the Administration Area, the purchase is justified by the aging condition of the existing coffee machines. The total estimated cost, including options, amounts to around €130,000. HSL states the new, fully serviced machines will improve employee amenities. The purchase has raised eyebrows given the organization’s reported financial challenges. The investment aims to replace outdated equipment and provide a better service for HSL personnel.
