Three tourists were rescued from a challenging trail in the Bucegi Mountains on Saturday evening by Prahova mountain rescue teams. The rescue operation involved the use of a helicopter to reach the stranded hikers. Two of the tourists were suffering from severe physical exhaustion, hindering their ability to descend on their own. A third tourist sustained a knee injury, further complicating the situation and necessitating aerial evacuation. The team successfully airlifted all three individuals to safety. Authorities emphasize the importance of preparedness and assessing fitness levels before embarking on difficult mountain trails.
