A 21-year-old woman was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in the center of Olomouce on Sunday. The incident occurred when the woman suddenly ran into the path of a Mercedes. The car was operated by a driver of the same age. Following the accident, authorities conducted sobriety tests on both parties. The woman was found to be heavily intoxicated, with a blood alcohol level exceeding three per mille. The driver's test returned a negative result. The woman remains under medical care for her injuries.
