Expansion of National Highway 1 in Ho Chi Minh City is progressing, with significant headway made in acquiring land in Tân Nhựt commune. As of recent reports, 328 out of 438 affected households have agreed to hand over their land for the project. The total compensation allocated for this phase amounts to approximately 1.972 trillion Vietnamese đồng. This indicates substantial progress towards the highway’s widening to 60 meters. While a majority have agreed, a remaining number of households are yet to reach an agreement. The project aims to improve traffic flow and connectivity within the city and surrounding areas. Authorities continue working to resolve outstanding land acquisition issues and ensure smooth project implementation.
