After a 16-year absence, Croatian side Hajduk Split has qualified for the group stage of a European competition. They achieved this feat by overcoming Polish team Raków Częstochowa in the final round of Conference League qualifying. Both legs of the tie ended 2-2, forcing the match into extra time during the away leg in Poland. It was Rokas Pukštas who secured the victory for Hajduk, scoring the winning goal in the 94th minute. This marks a significant moment for the club and its fans, bringing European football back to Split this autumn. The win signifies a return to the continental stage after a prolonged period of absence. Hajduk will now participate in the Conference League group stage.
