Greece has launched a new debt restructuring plan accessible through the myAADE digital platform, offering individuals a pathway to settle outstanding tax and social security debts to the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) and e-EFKA. The scheme allows for repayment in up to 72 monthly installments. A fixed interest rate of 5.84% will apply to the restructured debts, with a minimum monthly payment of 30 euros. The entire process will be conducted online, streamlining the application and management of payment plans. This initiative aims to provide relief to taxpayers struggling with arrears and facilitate the collection of overdue payments. The plan covers both overdue and previously unaddressed debts, offering a comprehensive solution for individuals facing financial hardship.
