Poland’s government is proposing a plan to make doctors’ earnings public, a move that has ignited debate over potential stigmatization of medical professionals. The proposal’s intent – whether to combat corruption or unfairly target doctors – remains a central question. Simultaneously, the Ombudsman (Rzecznik Praw Obywatelskich), Professor Marcin Wiącek, has criticized government plans to limit religious education in schools. Wiącek is also addressing the issue of hate speech directed towards the Ukrainian community within Poland, and efforts to counter it. These topics will be discussed in an interview with Tomasz Terlikowski on RMF FM radio. The Ombudsman’s stance on these issues is expected to provide further insight into the ongoing political and social discussions.
