Golomt Bank financially supported and collaborated on the 21st Asian Chess Championship, recently hosted in Mongolia for the first time. The competition, held from May 28th to June 7th, drew 248 top chess players from 28 Asian countries, competing in a standard time control format. Golomt Bank’s President, G. Ganbold, and a representative from the Corporate Banking Department officially opened the tournament with ceremonial moves. The Mongolian Chess Federation highlighted Golomt Bank’s support as crucial for organizing the large-scale international event and elevating Mongolia’s chess profile. The championship showcased high-level competition, was broadcast internationally, and served as a model for international cooperation. Golomt Bank also has a strong track record in corporate chess, achieving second place in the 2025 “Golden Pawn” tournament and winning the championship in 2026, earning them a spot in the World Chess Corporate Championship.
