Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced gold prices for the second consecutive time. The price adjustment, effective June 25th, reflects a decrease in the price of pure gold in the local market. According to a BAJUS announcement, the price of 22-carat gold, including VAT, has decreased by 7,698 taka per tola (approximately $77 USD) over the past two days. This decision comes after observing a decline in the cost of raw gold. The new prices are effective from 10:00 AM on Thursday. BAJUS regularly adjusts gold prices based on fluctuations in the global and local markets to ensure fair pricing for consumers and businesses. Further details regarding specific carat prices were released in the official announcement.
