Heuermann was found guilty of killing Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, Amber Costello, and Maureen Brainard-Barnes, whose remains were discovered along Gilgo Beach on Long Island, New York. He is also implicated in the deaths of four other women whose remains were found in the same area.
