The National Juniors Challenge (NJC), a junior high school quiz competition in Ghana, will incorporate a STEM Fair starting next year. Founder Wisdom Larry Quarme-Doe announced the expansion plans, aiming to broaden the competition’s scope and impact. The addition of the STEM Fair seeks to encourage greater participation and focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics among students. Organizers intend to increase the number of participating schools to 800 nationwide. This initiative builds upon the NJC’s existing role as a platform for academic challenge and intellectual development. The expansion reflects a commitment to fostering STEM skills within Ghana’s educational system. The NJC aims to become a key driver of STEM interest among junior high school students across the country.
