Ghanaian appliance brand BRUHM has initiated “Honours Legends,” a campaign recognizing pivotal figures in the nation’s football history. The initiative focuses on five celebrated players – Mohammed Polo, Rev. Osei Kofi, Dan Quaye, Ibrahim Sunday, and Nii Odartey Lamptey – acknowledging their contributions to Ghana’s football identity. BRUHM aims to shift focus from current football discussions to honour the sacrifices and achievements of past generations. The campaign, themed “The Men Behind Our Greatest Football Memories,” intends to highlight the lasting legacy of these icons. Organizers state the project seeks to celebrate players who fundamentally shaped Ghanaian football. The initiative represents a national effort to appreciate the foundations upon which the country’s football success was built.
