George Ravtopoulos, a significant figure in the Greek trade union movement and a founding member of the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK), has passed away. He served as the president of the Greek General Confederation of Labour (GSEE) from 1983 to 1989, leading the organization during a period of significant social and economic change in Greece.
