Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip have resulted in at least nine fatalities, including two young sisters and a journalist working for Al Jazeera. The strikes, which occurred overnight and throughout the day, targeted locations in Gaza City and the Bureij refugee camp. A building in Gaza City was hit without prior warning, killing the two children, aged 4 and 14. Later, Al Jazeera cameraman Ahmed Wishah was killed in Bureij, marking the twelfth journalist from the network to die in Israeli attacks. Al Jazeera condemned the attack as part of a systematic targeting of journalists. Other strikes targeted a tent camp in al-Mawasi, resulting in one death and eight injuries, and a group in Gaza City, wounding four. Additionally, reports indicate Israeli troops shot and killed a woman in Beit Lahiya. These events raise questions about the efficacy of ongoing ceasefire negotiations, as expressed by a relative of the deceased children.
