Mongolia is working to alleviate fuel shortages, particularly in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar and rural areas. Fuel queues in Ulaanbaatar have decreased by two to three times, and vehicle numbers at stations in provincial centers have also fallen. Authorities are prioritizing increased fuel supplies to provincial and district fuel stations. As of yesterday, 9,482.5 tons of petroleum products were imported, with 3,059 tons being AI-92 gasoline. Currently, 52 railcars carrying fuel are en route to Ulaanbaatar, expected to arrive between 11 PM and 3 AM. Daily supply to the capital has increased to 1,500-1,700 tons of AI-92 gasoline. Concerns regarding selective fuel distribution by certain stations are being addressed, with warnings issued to importers against discriminating between individual and corporate customers.
