Mongolia is receiving significant fuel shipments from Russia via the Sukhbaatar border crossing. Over 97 railcars carrying approximately 5,584 tons of AI-92 gasoline arrived in recent days, equaling the country’s two-day average consumption. The fuel is being quickly transported to various depots including Tolgoit, Rashant, Darkhan, Erdenet, and Ulaanbaatar. Unloading and distribution to gas stations across Ulaanbaatar and other provinces are occurring continuously. Collaborative efforts between Mongolian Railways (UBTZ), customs officials, and importing companies are ensuring 24/7 operation. Authorities report all possible measures are being taken to expedite the process and maintain a stable fuel supply.
