Israel’s Finance Minister has signed an order to reduce fuel excise tax by half a shekel for two months. As a result, the price of 95 octane gasoline will decrease from 8.25 shekels to 7.75 shekels per liter. This price reduction is set to take effect at midnight tonight across Israel. The move aims to alleviate the financial burden on Israeli citizens facing rising living costs. This temporary tax cut comes as a response to recent global fuel price fluctuations. The Ministry of Finance anticipates this will provide immediate, though limited, relief to consumers. The measure will be re-evaluated after the two-month period.
