A new poll conducted by IBRiS for “Rzeczpospolita” reveals that a majority of Polish respondents (64.8%) attribute rising fuel prices to US President Donald Trump. Only 25.2% hold the government of Donald Tusk responsible for the price increases, while a negligible 0.9% blame President Karol Nawrocki. The survey indicates significant public sentiment in Poland linking American political figures to domestic economic concerns – specifically, the cost of petrol. This finding highlights a perceived external influence on Poland's fuel market. The results suggest a widespread belief among Poles that factors beyond the national government are driving up prices at the pump. Further analysis of the poll findings could reveal underlying reasons for this perception.
