French DJ and producer Kavinsky, whose real name was Vincent Belorgey, has died at the age of 50. He was found dead in his Paris home on Tuesday, with authorities launching an investigation into the cause of death. Kavinsky rose to prominence with his 2010 EP *Nightcall*, particularly the title track which gained widespread recognition after being featured in the film *Drive* starring Ryan Gosling. He recently collaborated with Angèle on a new version of "Nightcall" and performed with her at the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games. Known for his alter ego persona—a zombie returning to make electronic music—Kavinsky was also a friend and collaborator of filmmaker Quentin Dupieux. His music has also been featured in popular video games, like *Grand Theft Auto IV*.
