A large fire is currently burning in Křečovice, near Benešov, Czech Republic, impacting both woodland and nearby cottages. Firefighters initially declared a special alert level, later downgrading it to the third level as the situation evolved. Dozens of fire units are on scene battling the blaze, supported by two helicopters equipped with water buckets (bambivaks). The fire originated in a forest and a field before spreading to residential structures.
