A 40-square-meter home in Vietnam features a uniquely designed facade inspired by folded paper. This innovative approach to architecture serves a dual purpose: effectively blocking sunlight and enhancing natural ventilation within the residence. The design utilizes the visual and functional qualities of a folded paper form to create a dynamic exterior. By manipulating the building’s surface, the architects aimed to mitigate harsh sunlight exposure, common in the region. This results in a more comfortable interior temperature and reduced reliance on artificial cooling.
