Cybercriminals who breached grocery delivery service Flink in the Netherlands last week have not yet received any ransom payments despite issuing an ultimatum. The hackers contacted Flink employees and customers, threatening to publish stolen data if a payment of 0.005 ETH (approximately 10 euros) was not made by October 2nd. An investigation by RTL Nieuws revealed that no one has responded to the demands. RTL received copies of the extortion emails sent to 32 Flink customers in the Netherlands, detailing the stolen data threat. The hackers claim to have stolen data from one million customers and over 10,000 employees, demanding 100 ETH (around 238,000 euros) for complete data deletion. Blockchain technology shows no payments have been made to the hackers’ digital wallet. The stolen data reportedly includes home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and order information, but not passwords or financial details according to Flink. RTL Nieuws identifies the group as LPG Group, a recently formed collective, who have not responded to requests for comment.
