A large fire broke out at a furniture factory in Jablonné nad Orlicí, in the Orlickoústeck region of the Czech Republic, on Wednesday afternoon. Over one hundred firefighters from fourteen units were deployed to extinguish the blaze. During the operation, two firefighters required medical attention; one collapsed and another sustained a minor injury, both being transported to a hospital. Authorities estimate the damage caused by the fire to be in the millions of Czech crowns. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Firefighters worked throughout the afternoon to fully contain and extinguish the flames at the industrial site. The incident prompted a significant emergency response in the area.
