A fire erupted on the roof of a Biedronka store located on Niepodległości Street in Jastrzębie-Zdrój on Wednesday evening. The fire encompassed approximately 500 square meters of the roof, where photovoltaic panels were installed. Poland’s Government Security Centre (RCB) issued a warning to residents of Jastrzębie-Zdrój regarding potential air pollution resulting from the blaze. Firefighters responded to the scene to contain and extinguish the flames. The extent of the damage to the Biedronka store is currently being assessed.
