Mongolia’s Ministry of Education addressed concerns regarding the integrity of national and promotion exams. L.Ganbat, Director of the Educational Assessment Center, clarified that claims of leaked exam materials circulating online are false. He explained that the Center develops a blueprint outlining the scope and structure of the national exam, but individual schools are responsible for creating their own specific questions based on this blueprint, resulting in numerous variations across the country’s 700+ schools. Ganbat affirmed that the system prevents exam content from being compromised. The spring exam period is underway, encompassing promotion and national assessments for grades 5, 9, and 12, with the university entrance exam approaching. The Ministry aims to dispel misinformation and ensure public trust in the fairness of the examination process.
