Everest Medicines has agreed to acquire assets from Corxel Pharmaceuticals to develop and commercialize LNZ100, a novel treatment, within Greater China. The deal strengthens Everest Medicines’ position in the ophthalmology market, a key strategic area for the company. LNZ100 is currently in Phase 3 clinical trials for the treatment of myopia progression in children. The Asset Purchase Agreement grants Everest Medicines exclusive rights to the drug in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. This acquisition aligns with Everest Medicines’ broader strategy of bringing innovative therapies to address significant unmet medical needs in the region. The company anticipates LNZ100 will become a significant revenue driver following potential approval.
