The European Commission and Ukraine have solidified their defense collaboration with a new industrial partnership, integrating European and Ukrainian defense industries. This partnership is focused on drone technologies, signified by the launch of the EU-Ukraine Drone Pact, designed to deepen cooperation in drone and counter-drone technologies. Accompanying this agreement is a significant financial commitment from the EU, providing an additional one billion euros to bolster Ukraine’s drone capabilities.
