Estonia is set to establish its first large-scale artificial intelligence computing centre by the end of 2026, thanks to an agreement between cloud company Nebius and Greenergy Data Centers. The facility, located near Tallinn, will feature 22 megawatts of computing capacity and will be Nebius’s initial AI infrastructure deployment in the Baltic region. Once operational, it’s projected to be the largest AI factory in the area. Unlike traditional manufacturing plants, an “AI factory” is a data centre specifically designed for the intensive computations required for training and running AI models. It will house powerful processors, high-speed networks and advanced cooling systems.
