The Enga Interdenominational Global Missions Inc. (EIGM) has begun a series of community consultations aimed at fostering peace in the Maip Mulitaka Local Level Government within the Paiela-Pogera District. The inaugural meeting convened all 19 ward councillors from the area to collaboratively address ongoing tribal conflicts and lawlessness. Discussions focused on generating practical solutions rooted in community needs and leadership. The EIGM’s initiative seeks to empower local representatives to take ownership of the peace process. This meeting represents a first step towards a more sustainable, community-driven approach to resolving disputes in the Maip Mulitaka Local Level Government. The aim is to reduce violence and promote stability in the Paiela-Pogera District. This effort signals a commitment to finding lasting solutions to long-standing issues.
