A new special issue delves into the crucial role of emotions in shaping Taiwan’s political landscape, historical narrative, and daily life. Based on the edited volume “Feeling Taiwan,” the research demonstrates how feelings are integral – not separate – to understanding Taiwanese identity and social transformations.
