A 67-year-old woman was the victim of an armed robbery at her home in Taman Seri Jerai 2, Gurun, Kedah yesterday. The assailant, a man who forcibly entered the residence, threatened the woman with a pistol. He then stole jewellery valued at RM23,000 before escaping the scene. Police are currently investigating the incident and seeking information regarding the suspect’s identity and whereabouts.
